Scholarships Available: Yes Sustainable Vocations prepares youth (ages 15-24) for diverse leadership roles that integrate sustainability into their communities, and provides an experiential introduction to the growing green jobs market.
Students will earn an internationally recognized Permaculture Design Certification (72 hour course). We are in process of accrediting this course to give students the option of gaining college or high school credit.

Permaculture Design (with Registered Permaculture instructor) - Sustainable Living Skills - Leadership & Community Building - Renewable Energy (with NABCEP Certified instructor) - Green Building intro (with LEED Accredited Professional) & Natural Building - Environmental & Social Justice - Watershed Restoration - Localizing Food & Economy - Animal Husbandry - Rainwater Harvesting & Greywater Design - Green Jobs Preparation
Follow up for graduates, their families and community network, includes: Graduation Ceremony - Support to Enact a Community Enhancement Project - Referrals to Internships, Jobs, & Advanced Trainings - Mentor/Instructor Contact - Alumni Network
Cost: $1,500-2,500, sliding scale. Includes tuition, meals & camping.
